On my journey of God calling me to Israel, I will be updating on what I am doing each step of the way. I am actually writing a full length detailed story about how I felt God calling me on this mission to Israel. I will be adding it to Facebook and my blog itself. I will keep you all posted. The first thing that the Lord told me is, "How can I send you if you are not prepared". He kept putting on my heart to get my passport for over a year. One day I prayed and asked God if He really wanted me to get my passport and where I would go. The following day I got a post card in the mail saying that they were having a day for people to get their international passports! God is so funny and always right on time! So, I did what any Christian in their right mind would do. I obeyed. Called and found out I could go to WSU with no wait time and you can also get your picture there as well. It's pretty much the one stop shop for passports. I had to fill out the paper work on the website first though at https://il.usembassy.gov Fill that out, take it to WSU, make sure to have your birth certificate as well as a debit card and cash. Boom! You are done.

I am not one to ask for anything. I have always been independant and able to provide for everything. This has been a season of the Lord stripping off anything that could make me rely on self and he reminded me of the portion of the verse that says, "You do not have because you do not ask." Ouch!. Ok Lord. So during my time of figuring out this process of missions with the Lord, He had me search on different crowdfunding options and here is a link to some of those! I got excited because these are each Christian led from what I understand to help with missions as well as other things. Go to https://blog.fundly.com/christian-crowdfunding-platforms/ to review some of these and see if this could be something your church or ministry may be in need of. Each of them have a type of fee from the collection, but are all great platforms to choose from. Out of all of them, my favorite would be, GiveSendGo! Probably mainly due to their marketing video. Marketing is key. As I watched this, I KNEW that I was on the right track with my calling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8SwchIuuAU As I prayed, the Lord led me to just start a group on Facebook due to time constraints and save those for a future ministry event that would be much larger in scale. For now, this will have to do... https://www.facebook.com/groups/137036636897320/ Blessings and Shalom, Rachel
